If lyrics are to songs like gin is to tonic,
Then like earth is to air, you are to me.
I will not be done by fleeting romance…
Are my hands big enough to hold her heart?

First snow broke,
The hardy glacier frozen beneath.
Music so swell as winter fell.
In that moment, life had truly begun.
But, is my heart big enough to accept her?

And the ship sailed,
With two onboard.
Cue the forthcoming Titanic.
Will I be strong enough to catch her when she falls?

Till the oceans run dry,
Poems of affection will be penned.
Be as it may however,
That synonym for love will never be found.
For there is none.
And love finds you anyhow.

Through love doth that man receive salvation,
And in.
With thy convictions, grasp ever so firmly.

Then, only then,
Will the angels be lost in an endless adoration of unfathomable glory.
